Danfoss & Vickers hydraulic applications
Danfoss and Vickers components cover different hydraulic functions and machine interfaces. An existing Eaton or Vickers label should be identified by its complete model and part number before a current replacement is selected.
Legacy identification
Keep the original designation exactly as shown on the nameplate. Older Eaton Hydraulics names remain useful when identifying equipment; the current Vickers portfolio is presented as Vickers by Danfoss.
Application details
For a valve, include the spool function, mounting size, voltage and connection. For a pump or motor, include the displacement, rotation, shaft, flange and control configuration.
A change of generation
A later revision or proposed replacement needs a documented comparison. Similar names do not establish a direct mechanical or functional replacement.
